ANNOUNCEMENTS

SUPPRESSORS/SILENCERS:
TSC allowed Silencers/suppressors be used at the March .22 match. Unfortunately it was determined that shots were not recognized reliably by our scoring timers. Therefore "Silencers, Cans, Suppressors, etc." are NOT ALLOWED in the  TSC .22 Pistol matches.

We gave the go ahead for them to be used in our March  .22 pistol match. Unfortunately, it was determined the shot timers did not reliably record the shots. For this reason we have decided to disallow the use of these devices at the TSC .22 matches. If you have these devices installed, they must be removed before the start of the match.

BIG BORE matches: If someone brings a large bore pistol with a suppressor, we will test the equipment to see if the shots are reliably recognized by the shot-timer, we will allow these devices (big bore pistols only) on a trial basis this Saturday. However, if the timers do not record ALL shots fired, reliably, all such devices  will be disallowed in the future. The device  must be removed at the "safe table" before continuing.  No reshoots will be allowed. A max score will be received on any/all run(s) up to and including all runs up to the decision to disallow.  No adjustments in scores will be made. Once the device has been removed the shooter may continue to finish any runs not started on that stage.

REMINDER: Cedar Ridge Range Rules*** Shooters are prohibited from  handling firearms at their vehicle. Exchange of unloaded firearm from bag to holster must be at the SAFE TABLE to avoid DQ. Also, Cedar Ridge does not allow loaded magazines to be on your belt at the safe table.

(The fine print)
Texas Steel encourages you to support all shooting clubs in the area. With a area match virtually every weekend, we are indeed fortunate. And, of course, Texas Steel  appreciates support from members of other area clubs.

Changes may be made at anytime without notice. In the case of differences, additions or omissions, the Match Director shall have the final decision. Texas Steel Competition is not affiliated with any other club or organization.
